Ear Piercing
At Modern Dermatology of KY & Cosmetic Specialists, we perform ear-piercing for all age ranges, from infants to adults, with Blomdahl ear piercing. Blomdahl ear piercing is recommended for children and adults. It can only be performed by a trained physician and is done with special earrings designed per dermatologists’ recommendations. Avoid the frightening thought of bringing your child to a kiosk in the mall to get their ears pierced for the first time & take the safer route with Modern Dermatology of KY & Cosmetic Specialists’ trained skincare professionals.
Blomdahl earrings are hypoallergenic – the world’s only ear-piercing earring with 0% metal – and are specially designed to promote a safe and quick healing process.
Injectables
We offer both Juvederm & Restylane products.
Juvéderm® is a collection of advanced dermal fillers designed to smooth wrinkles, restore facial volume, and enhance facial contours, offering natural-looking results that can last for months. If you're looking to reduce the appearance of your facial lines and restore volume and fullness, dermal fillers can be an excellent option. Many patients also request fillers to increase lip plumpness, a process that can also add youth and fullness to the mouth area.

Microneedling
As our skin ages, our collagen production naturally slows down. The Collagen P.I.N. is a method of introducing controlled micro-injuries into the skin that trigger a release of natural growth factors that create new collagen and elastin, which results in plumper and firmer skin.

We typically recommend a series of 3-6 treatments depending upon your areas of concern. Treatments are usually spaced in 4 week intervals. Patients with deep wrinkles, advanced sun damage or any type of scarring usually require 6 or more treatments to achieve the desired results.
